FRED’S TIP
This rod has a nice balance—soft enough up top to feel everything, but plenty of power when it’s time to lean into a fish.
EXPANDED DESCRIPTION
The FCT Pro Series was developed using feedback from guides and anglers who spend a lot of time on the water. The goal was to build a rod that actually matches how people fish out here—and this mooching rod is a good example of that.
The tip is sensitive enough to pick up subtle bites, which is key when fish aren’t committing hard. At the same time, the rod transitions into a strong backbone that gives you the power you need for clean hooksets and control during the fight.
It’s built with quality components, including Fuji guides and a dual uplocking reel seat that keeps your reel secure. The 3K woven carbon grips add a bit of extra traction, especially when things get wet.
After putting it through its paces, it’s one of those rods that just feels right—balanced, responsive, and built for how we actually fish.
