The BMW is a simple but effective pattern that suggests a lot of food sources including leeches, damselflies, and mayflies. The natural movement of marabou fibers is definitely noticed by trout and other fish species. This is also an excellent pattern to have onhand when fish a focused on chironomid pupa but aren't responding to more natural-looking pupal patterns.
