Fred’s Custom Tackle In-Store Return Policy

At FCT, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return an item, please review our return policy below:

Return Eligibility:

  • Items must be returned to the Location of purchase within 30 days with the original receipt .

  • Products must be unused, in original packaging, and in resalable condition.

  • Items damaged due to misuse, improper storage, or normal wear and tear cannot be returned.

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Frozen bait (for health and safety reasons).

  • Custom-made or special-order items.

  • Clearance and final sale items.

  • Opened fishing line, hooks, and terminal tackle for safety reasons.

Refunds & Exchanges:

  • Eligible returns will be refunded to the original payment method or offered as store credit.

  • Exchanges are available for items of equal or lesser value.

  • Credit/debit card refunds may take 3-5 business days to process.

Defective or Damaged Items:

  • If you receive a defective item, please return it within 30 days with your receipt.

  • Some items may be covered under manufacturer warranties, and we can assist with warranty claims.

Return Process:

  1. Bring the item and your original receipt to our store.

  2. Our team will inspect the product and process the return based on eligibility.

  3. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method or as store credit.
