At Fred’s, we are also totally invested in our efforts of defending the public fishery. Check out what the Fraser River Sportfishing Alliance is doing to secure this extremely important opportunity for recreational anglers and the general state of our precious fisheries.

This year we are raising our goal to fundraise for habitat restoration on the Chilliwack River through our Wally Hall Jr. Memorial Steelhead Derby. Our goal of 15K will mean close to another 50k in funds for projects along the river. This brings our contribution to close to a half-million dollars over the years. This year you can purchase multiple derby tickets from either of our stores or online at shopfreds.ca. Each ticket will be eligible for draws for some fantastic prizes; including Milner reels, top-notch rods, waders, and more!
